Note 1: Where a PCDB record for a heat pump identifies that a weather compensation control is included, SAP assessors must ensure that the control (as specified by the heat pump manufacturer) is fitted as part of the installation; it must also be permanently enabled. If the weather compensation control is not installed or permanently enabled, the PCDB record does not apply and must not be selected by the SAP assessor.
Note 2: Also see: www.bre.co.uk/heatpumpefficiency, which provides a graphical display of annual efficiency (SPF_H4) data for HPs added to PCDB since October 2016.
Note 3: To see all 'exhaust air MVHR' heat pumps, based on a 'warm air system' emitter, providing 'space and water heating all year', SAP assessors can find them over three sections: 'space heating', 'domestic hot water' and 'balanced whole-house mechanical ventilation with heat recovery'
